We now have a presence in both Germany and France and the Gross Kienitz golf club was one of the first clubs who signed-up with us in Germany.
Based in Berlin (near Berlin Schoenefeld Airport) the venue offers an 18-hole championship course (Robert Baker course), a public 9-hole course and a public 3-hole practice course. There are two 300-metre long driving ranges with partially covered hitting areas, providing ideal practice facilities and conditions for up to 100 golfers. Additionally, there is a short game practice area offering a putting green, a practice bunker and various target greens.
Our joint MD, James Munroe, visited the club in January and commented, “I was really impressed with the facilities and it was fascinating to compare a golf club in Germany to those in the UK. Although it was January, I can see that it would get really busy in summer and its proximity to Berlin means that it has a huge potential audience as the game grows in Germany. I would highly recommend a visit for anyone who is visiting the area from the UK and wants a round.”
The public 9-hole course is very demanding with numerous water hazards, natural lakes and the 18-hole “Robert Baker” championship course is the pride and joy of the club with fantastic views of the Brandenburg countryside it makes for a great golfing experience. A launch and networking event is booked in for June at the club so all the corporate partners can meet each other and key personnel from the club.
Visit the Golfanlagen Gross Kienitz website for more information on what the club has to offer.
